Create a company

A new customer creates their own company account on the public page /signup. You choose a company address, a seat plan, and how many seats to start with, and accept the terms. No card number is asked for on this page.

Role: anyone, signed out. Open it from Create a company at the bottom of the login page. The page shows the ReagentFlow mark with the subtitle Create a company, and the theme button at the top right.

Fill in the form

1. On the login page choose Create a company.
2. Wait for Loading plans… to finish. If plans fail to load, the page shows an error with Retry; choose it.
3. Type the Company name.
4. Check Company host. The app suggests it from the company name. It is the first part of your company’s ReagentFlow web address (the hint shows an example such as acme followed by the app’s address). Edit it if you want a different one. Use lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens.
5. Type your Email. Hint: Use the Google or company email you will sign in with. This is the first seat.
6. Under Plan, choose a card: Monthly or Annual. Each card shows the price, for example “$X per seat / month”. Monthly is picked by default when it is offered.
7. Set Seats (at least 1). Hint: You can buy more seats than people you add today. Unused seats stay on the account until an admin removes them.
8. Tick I agree to the ReagentFlow terms. This acceptance is the contract for the company account.
9. Read This page does not ask for a card number.
10. Choose Create company (it reads Creating company…). The button stays disabled while plans are loading or when no plan is available.

If no plans are offered, the plan area says No plans are available. Already a customer? Choose Already have a company? Sign in.

Messages you may see

• Company name is required
• Host must be a DNS label: lowercase letters, digits, hyphens
• Enter the email you will use to sign in
• Choose a plan from the list
• Seat count must be at least 1 or Seat count must be a whole number
• Accept the terms to continue
• Unable to create the company (or a more specific reason) if the request fails. For example, This email already has a seat means the email is already seated at a company; use a different email.

When the company is ready

The page replaces the form with [company name] is ready. and a summary:

• Plan — plan name, interval, and per-seat price
• Seats — how many seats you started with
• Expected seat total

A short paragraph says whether the terms are recorded and whether a payment method is on file, then Your seat is active. With more than one seat it adds The other seats stay on the account until an admin adds someone.

Creating the company also sets up your own account: the email you entered is the company’s first ADMIN and holds the first seat, on the plan you chose. No password is set for it, so you sign in with Google or your company email rather than a ReagentFlow password.

1. Read Sign in with Google or company email as [your email].
2. Choose Sign in. It opens the login page at your new company’s address, which is also printed under the button.
3. After you sign in, accept the Terms for yourself on the Terms screen (see Accept the Terms).

Then add a payment card (see Payment card) and add people on Users. Extra seats you bought appear as unassigned on the seat usage panel.
